Killingworth is made up of about 36 square miles and has
about 70 miles of roads.
Interestingly enough, the Town is operated not by officials,
but by Town meetings and votes in this fashion. |
About, a quarter of the land in town is classified as
drinking water supply watershed, which means that nearly all
of the town’s drinking water and sanitation needs are
provided by private wells and individual on site septic
systems.
