history, outdoor sports, haunted mansions or just about
anything else.

small state. |
In Hartford, the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center, which was

death of their son.
Many people will tell you that spirits of Daniel Benton’s
descendants still live in the Benton Homestead Museum in
Tolland. From 1720 to 1932,the Bentons owned the home and

Revolutionary War is said to still serve as the Shaws’ home
today! Photos taken on the landing where the Shaw family

denoting the presence of spirits.
At the Lighthouse Inn, which has been featured on the SciFi
channel’s “Ghost Hunters,” it has been reported that
paranormal activity takes place, and investigators have
detected unexplained drops in temperature and feelings of
being touched by someone. The belief is that the spirits of
two Victorian women roam the historic inn, as well as that
of a bride who fell down the inn’s stairs on her wedding day
in 1930.
